Knowledge of DVI-A interfaces
Release date: 2021/6/2 17:47:21 | Publisher: Shenzhen Cptele Electronics Co., Ltd
DVI-A (Analog, analog) interface: This interface is actually a deformation of the VGA interface, which used to be mostly used on some high-end CRT displays, but now it has been basically eliminated. The "fake DVI interface" we often refer to is the DVI-A, because it still transmits an analog signal, not a digital signal that reflects the advantages of DVI technology.
DVI-D (Digital) interface: DVI-D is a digital signal interface in the true sense, which is where it is more advanced than DVI-A; However, the DVI-D interface also has shortcomings, that is, users cannot be compatible with old-fashioned CRT monitors when using this interface, and if it happens that there is only a D-Sub interface on the LCD monitor, then users will only have a dry stare.
DVI-I (Integrated) interface: This is a hybrid interface that integrates DVI-A and DVI-D, which can be compatible with both DVI-D and DVI-A (it can also be transferred to D-Sub through an adapter), which is currently the most compatible DVI interface.
In general, there is no significant difference between single-channel and dual-channel DVI when transmitting video signals up to 1600 ×1200@60Hz. If your monitor can support Full HD (1920×1080) or higher resolutions, don't choose a single-channel DVI cable. DVI-D can only receive digital signals; DVI-I can receive both digital and analog signals at the same time, and the transmission distance is short, 7-15M.
Coptic Electronics has DVI cables, signal cables, network cables, LVDS cables, and terminal lines.
